Dead Covers Project happens every year, where musicians interpret material from the Grateful Dead songbook and upload a video on Youtube to be shared in a communal playlist. Dead Covers Project 2023 happened in February of 2023.

Since we hadn't released a compilation since 2020, Citizens' Loft decided to have members of our community embark on a quest within this year's Dead Covers Project. We made it our goal to, along with our video elements, have a nice audio element that we could share for sound consumption. Look out for it on streaming sites soon!

Huge thanks to The Bunker Brothers Trio Band, Citizens' Dead, Lock Bolt and Key, and Still for being our compilation artists for only the 2nd Citizens' Loft compilation.

Enjoy our foray into making Grateful Dead covers with the members of our ever-growing community, and witness the evolution of Citizens' Dead within this compilation!
