That's It For The Other One Suite

2. Quadbilet For Tender Feet (2:00-4:00)
3. The Faster We Go The Rounder We Get (4:00-7:57)
4. Cryptical Envelopment (Reprise) (7:57-9:50)

This particular piece inspired our community to approach Dead Covers Project as a larger project. We initially planned to do this for Dead Covers Project 2021, but in corralling and creating, we realized we needed more time to realize the vision.
Citizens' Dead is a fluid entity in terms of membership, and so the original thought was emulate each of our lineups with a contribution to Dead Covers Project 2023. While many proto line-ups and collaborators came and went, for our 2019 Summer Tour, we finally solidified our long standing line-up. This line-up remained in various different versions, throughout our Winter 2020 Tour, Winter 2021 Pandemic Activites, and Summer 2022 Tour which includes everyone below (as well as our dear friend Graham Albright), with the 2022 addition of Tom Schmidt.
For our overarching Dead Covers Project release, we decided to include every member of the line-up on one track. The 5 piece of Ian, Ben, Jack, Jason, and Kailey recorded the entire suite live, at Pig World. Ian and Ben constructed a version of the song from these live takes to allow space for Alex to add his own bass as well, and then Kamen recorded remotely in Colorado to complete our sound. We wanted to think in an "Anthem Of The Sun" methodology, so let us know what you think of the result!
